A new Queen documentary is set to air next month on the UK’s BBC 2. “Freddie Mercury: The Final Act” is a 90-minute doc that focuses on the final chapter of Mercury’s life, and the tribute concert that took place at Wembley Stadium five months after his November, 1991 death.
The doc features new interviews from Queen’s Brian May and Roger Taylor, as well as Mercury’s sister Kashmira Bulsara and friends. There are also interviews from artists who played the April 1992 tribute, including The Who’s Roger Daltrey, Def Leppard’s Joe Elliott, Paul Young and more.
In addition to the doc, BBC 2 will air the one-hour special “Queen at the BBC,” featuring musical highlights from the band.
