Paul Stanley may be known for fronting KISS, but he’s also been keeping busy with his side project Soul Station. Paul and the band just released their debut music video for their cover of “O-O-H Child.”
In the video, the Rock & Roll Hall of Famer and his 15-piece ensemble of musicians and vocalists are shown on a stage performing the song made famous by The Five Stairsteps. In a statement to his website, Paul says the world could use some of the song’s “optimism and hope” right now.
“I remember first hearing the Five Stairsteps on the radio and I felt like my problems were lifted from my shoulders,” he adds. “That’s the power of music and I want to share it.”
