Pink Floyd is releasing more from their archives. The band has announced the release of their 1990 headlining gig at the Silver Clef Award Winners concert at Knebworth House in England.
The concert, which benefited the Nordoff Robbins charity, also featured live performances from Paul McCartney, Dire Straits, and Phil Collins with Genesis. It was broadcast on MTV at the time, and later released on DVD, and now Pink Floyd’s performance will become the only set to be released in full as a stand-alone audio release.
- “There is something special about Knebworth,” Pink Floyd’s Nick Mason says in a statement. “We all still have fond memories of playing there in the 70’s, and this show was no different.”
Pink Floyd’s “Live At Knebworth 1990” is due for release on April 30th and can be pre-ordered HERE.
