As we previously told you, Queen and Adam Lambert teased a big announcement earlier this week, and now they’ve revealed the news. After seven years performing together the artists will release their first-ever live album/DVD.

Queen + Adam Lambert’s “Live Around the World” will drop October 2nd in multiple formats including CD, CD+DVD, CD+Blu-ray and vinyl. They write on Instagram that it “presents a tear-the roof-off compilation of concert highlights captured the world over personally selected” by Brian May, Roger Taylor and Adam, “from over 200 shows they have performed, with several tracks exclusively available for the very first time.”

"When we couldn’t tour this year we wanted to give the fans something in place of that, and a Live album just felt right," Lambert said in a press statement. "It’s the first time we have released an album together and we have had a lot of fun putting it together, picking out favorite performances over the past seven years."
