Ringo Starr’s summer tour has been cut short. The singer has postponed the final 12 dates of his summer “Ringo Starr and His All Starr Band” tour after two members of the band tested positive for COVID.

“We are so sorry to let the fans down. It’s been wonderful to be back out on the road and we have been having such a great time playing for you all,” Ringo shares. “But as we all know, Covid is still here and despite being careful these things happen,” adding, “I want to thank the fans for their patience, I send you all peace and love, and we can’t wait to be back in the Fall.”

Last week Ringo shared on stage in New York that Edgar Winter had tested positive for COVID, and then it was later revealed that Steve Lukather got it too.

The tour is expected to pick back up in September. Check out the current fall dates here.
