Yesterday marked the one-year anniversary of Rolling Stone drummer Charlie Watts’ death and the band paid tribute to him on social media. The group posted a tribute video to their late drummer, captioning it, “One year on without our beloved Charlie. Remembering him and all the incredible things he achieved in his life.”

Meanwhile frontman Mick Jagger posted his own clip of remembrance, featuring a collage of photos of Charlie and he and Charlie together. “I miss Charlie… because he had a great sense of humor,” Jagger says in the clip, set to the Stones song “Til The Next Goodbye.” “Outside of the band, we used to hang out quite a lot and have interesting times.” He adds, “We loved sports, we’d go to football, we’d go to cricket games, and we had other interests apart from just music. But, of course… I really miss Charlie so much.”

And Keith Richards and Ronnie Wood also paid tribute to Watts. Keith tweeted, “Charlie Watts, I miss you Mate!🙏,” while Ronnie also tweeked, “Charlie, missing you every single day. Shirley, Seraphina and Charlotte, we hold you close in our hearts xxx,” with both sharing photos of their late friend.
