Star-Studded Concert To Celebrate 40th Anniversary Of R.E.M.’s Debut EP

The 40th anniversary of R.E.M.’s debut EP “Chronic Town” is being celebrated with two benefit concerts in December.

The concerts, announced by The Black Crowes Rich Robinson, will take place December 14th at the 40 Watt Club in Athens, Georgia, and December 15th at the Coca-Cola Roxy in Atlanta. 

Robinson will lead the house band each night, with his brother Chris Robinson, Darius Rucker, Fred Armisen, John Cameron Mitchell, Lenny Kaye and more conformed or both nights, with the Indigo Girls, and John Driskelll Hopkins of the Zac Brown Band, also performing on December 14th.
