A new documentary about iconic singer Celine Dion is set to premiere on Prime Video on June 25th. Directed by Irene Taylor, "I Am: Celine Dion," will offer a glimpse into Dion's life and career, including her battle with Stiff Person Syndrome. It explores her journey toward living authentically amidst illness, capturing over a year of filming.

"As the road to resuming my performing career continues, I have realized how much I have missed it, of being able to see my fans," Dion said in a press release at the beginning of the year. "During this absence, I decided I wanted to document this part of my life to try to raise awareness of this little-known condition, to help others who share this diagnosis.”

Dion's public disclosure of her diagnosis in December 2022 shed light on her struggles with muscle spasms affecting her walking and singing ability. Despite the challenges however, Dion remains hopeful about returning to the stage, aiming to raise awareness about SPS through her story. The documentary is a collaboration between Sony Music Vision, Sony Music Entertainment Canada, and Vermilion Films.
