As we previously told you, a never-before-released Whitney Houston song was being offered as an NFT, and the auction this week? It brought in some big bucks. The debut Whitney NFT collection, produced by the NFT platform OneOf,  included a never-before-released demo, recorded when Whitney was only 17, and it sold for a whopping $999,999.

The auction winner now has personal access to the song, along with a digital video created by teen artist Diana Sinclair, who was recently featured in "Time," "Vogue" and more.  The collection also featured more affordable archival photos from the singer’s early career. And by the way? We'd love to tell you the name of the song, but only the buyer knows it!

Proceeds from the auction benefit the Whitney E. Houston Foundation, a nonprofit “which continues Houston’s work to empower, support, and inspire young people.”
