A classic holiday album has reached a new peak on the “Billboard” 200 Album chart. Vince Guaraldi Trio’s “A Charlie Brown Christmas” moved 39,000 equivalent album units this week to land at nine.
This is now the highest chart position the classic album has ever reached. Before this the album first reached the Top 10 on the “Billboard” 200 in January, where it peaked at 10.
The album was originally released in 1967, although the first time it landed on any chart was the “Billboard” Top Holiday Albums chart in 1987.
