Joey Kramer will not be on drums for Aerosmith during their Las Vegas residency starting this June. The band announced that he'll be taking "a temporary leave of absence" from the group and will be replaced by John Douglas.

In a statement, Aerosmith said, "[Kramer] has regrettably made the decision to sit out the band's concerts in 2022 so he can focus his full attention on his family during these uncertain times. He and the band look forward to his future performances with Aerosmith."

Things between Kramer and the band have been rocky over the past couple of years. He even filed a suit against them back in 2020, claiming the band blocked him from performing with them at the GRAMMY awards.
