Al Jardine On Whether Beach Boys Will Reunite For 60th Anniversary

Al Jardine of the Beach Boys was asked by JamBands if there was any hope for the band to tour in celebration of their 60th anniversary at the end of the year, and apparently hopes is alive and well.
“Yeah, there’ll definitely be three big tribute concerts – at least that’s the plan,” he shares. And according to Al, it won’t be just the Beach Boys. “There will be other bands on there too paying tribute to the Beach Boys – it will be a big celebration.”
Of course, it could be a smaller tour…or much bigger. “That would be my wish, to do an actual world tour based on that premise and for it to just be us,” he says. “But we’ll see – we’re going to start with one and see how it goes.”
