Barbra Streisand may have millions of fans, but even she gets a little insecure sometimes. Despite selling out concerts for decades, in a new interview she reveals that she sometimes has “doubts” anyone would want to see her perform.
"I always have these doubts, like, will anybody show up,” she tells Zoe Ball on BBC Radio 2’s Breakfast show. “I always doubt myself in a sense.” Referring to her London Hyde Park show in 2019, she notes, “to see 70,000 people there that night. They were a fantastic audience.”
Video later surfaced of fans in the subway after the show singing her classic “The Way We Were,” and Babs notes, “that was was a kick,” adding, “That was a treasured moment."
Barbra Streisand's new album "Release Me 2" drops August 6th.
