Billy Idol Drops Off Journey Tour To Have A Sinus Infection

Billy Idol unfortunately won’t be touring with Journey as planned. The trek is due to kick off later this month, but Billy just revealed he’s dropping off because he needs to undergo a “procedure” for a sinus infection. 

“The last thing I want to do is cancel shows,” he shares, “and I am absolutely gutted that I won’t be able to perform the upcoming dates with Journey as planned.” 

Billy was supposed to be on the tour from February 22^nd to April 5^th, with Toto taking over on the second leg. Toto will now be support for the entire tour. Billy adds, “I wish Journey only the best on the tour and give thanks to Toto for stepping in for me.”
