Billy Idol says becoming a grandfather has changed his life. He’s gushed to “People” magazine about his granddaughter Poppy Rebel, who his daughter Bonnie Broad welcomed last year.
Billy has had a year off to spend quality time with Poppy, and he’s having a blast helping her learn how to walk and talk. So far, she can say “dude,” “duck,” and “fish”... and music runs in the family! She rocks out to his song “Rebel Yell,” and of course, the kid-favorite tune “Baby Shark.”
“It opens you up emotionally,” he says about being a grandfather. “Everything is a new experience for her. In a way, I’m reliving those experiences myself.”
