Blondie is getting into the NFT game. The band is celebrating Andy Warhol’s 93rd birthday with a new NFT.
The “Hack The Borders” crypto art series is based on the late visual artist’s first-ever digital portrait of Blondie frontwoman Debbie Harry, originally shot in 1985. Blondie calls the one-of-a-kind artwork “a present day manifestation of the punk rock movement.”
The “Hack The Borders” NFT launches via online auction platform Nifty Gateway on what would’ve been Andy Warhol’s 93rd birthday, August 6th. Check out a preview of the art below.
