Blondie is sharing new music with fans. Well, actually, it’s new old music. The band just released a newly rediscovered home recording of the song “Mr. Sightseer.” The track will appear on the band’s upcoming box set “Blondie: Against The Odds 1974-1982” and was recorded in 1978.
“The lyric is not good at all,” Debbie Harry joked in a press release. “The song’s not too bad. It’s just a little simplistic. It didn’t ever get really developed or finished.”
“Blondie: Against The Odds 1974-1982” is set to drop August 26th.
- ONE MORE THING! Blondie has postponed their show tonight at the Paramount Theater in Huntington, New York “due to a recent positive COVID test.” The show has been rescheduled to August 31st, with a second show added September 1st. They have also canceled their show at the Foxwoods Resort Casino in Connecticut.
