U2’s Bono was one of the many Irish artists who took part in the annual charity busking event in Dublin, Ireland on Christmas Eve, although this year due to COVID, the event took place at Dublin’s St Patrick’s Cathedral instead of out on Grafton Street as is tradition.

For the event, organized annually by Glen Hansard, musicians busk to raise money for local charities, with Bono this year performing U2’s “The Joshua Tree” track “Running To Stand Still,” backed by Glen and other musicians.

The event, which raised money for Simon Community which helps the homeless, also featured Damien Rice and Shane MacGowan, who performed The Pogues’ “Dirty Old Town.”
