Congratulations are in order for Bruce Springsteen. The Boss and wife Patti Scialfa became first-time grandparents, when their son Sam and fiancée, welcomed their first child, a baby girl.
Patti shared the news with folks on social media, sharing pics of the couple and the baby, writing, “_walking the baby_. Lily Harper Springsteen 🌼.”
The post was met with congratulations from Bruce and Patti’s rock and roll friends, including Rage Against the Machine’s Tom Morrello, who wrote, “Oh my!! Congrats!!,” while Eddie Vedder’s wife Jill noted, “Congrats!!! She is beautiful !! Love the name .. we are quite fond of the “Harper” part since we have a Harper too ❤️,” referring to the couple’s youngest daughter.
Amy Aiello Lofgren, wife of E Street Band guitarist Nils Lofren, added, “That is some big time good news Grandma.” Check out the photo here.
