Bruce Springsteen Releases Cover Of “Don’t Play That Song”

Bruce Springsteen has given fans another taste of his upcoming album, “Only The Strong Survive,” which drops November 11th.
The latest is a cover of the Ben E. King track “Don’t Play That Song,” along with a black and white performance video, with Bruce backed by a huge band with string and horn sections.
Originally released in 1962, the song, written by King, his wife Betty Nelson, and Atlantic Records founder Ahmet Ertegun, was one of King’s biggest hits, hitting number 11 on the Hot 100 chart. It was the title track to his third record.
