Bruce Springsteen To Be Honored With The 2021 Woody Guthrie Prize

Bruce Springsteen will be honored next week with the Woody Guthrie prize, which honors  artists who speak out for the less fortunate.

“I’m honored to receive the 2021 Woody Guthrie Prize,” Bruce shares. “Woody wrote some of the greatest songs about America’s struggle to live up its ideals in convincing fashion. He is one of my most important influences and inspirations.” 

Bruce will be honored May 13^th during a virtual event. Previous prizewinners include Joan Baez, John Mellencamp, Kris Kristofferson, Mavis Staples and more.
