Chaka Khan has teamed with Idina Menzel for a new take on her classic “I’m Every Woman,” which was released for International Women’s Day. The collaboration is part of humanitarian organization Care's #IMEVERYWOMAN International Women's Day campaign, celebrating the resilience and leadership of women around the world.
"I am honored to lend my voice to celebrate and inspire women on this International Women's Day," Chaka shares. "I hope our rendition of 'I'm Every Woman' sheds light on the incredible strength of empowered women — women who are changing the world by leading their communities,” adding, “We especially pay tribute to the female heroes who have been at the forefront of the fight against COVID-19 this past year."
Idina adds that she’s “so thrilled to be a part of this hopeful celebration of strength for International Women's Day" noting the song is a "beautiful recognition of the power in every woman."
