Charlie Watts was honored by his friends, family, fellow musicians, and fellow Rolling Stones at a private celebration of his life in London Monday night. The event took place at the late drummer’s favorite jazz club, Ronnie Scott’s in Soho.

Watts’ close friends and colleagues performed songs from his decades-long career at the event hosted by Jools Holland, who also led the house band with Charlie’s lifelong friend Dave Green, Ben Waters, and Alex Zwingenberger. Also in the crowd were longtime Stones live and recording band members like Bernard Fowler, Lisa Fischer, Tim Ries and former bassist Bill Wyman.

The evening ended with an impromptu jam by Mick Jagger, Keith Richards and Ronnie Wood, performing R&B staples “Shame Shame Shame” and “Down The Road Apiece.”
