Chicago’s 1971 live album “Chicago at Carnegie Hall” is getting a massive reissue in honor of its 50th anniversary.
With eight packed shows between April 5th and 10th, 1971, the band became the first rock act to sell out Carnegie Hall for a week. They recorded each performance and released the highlights as a live album, and now they’ll be releasing all eight performances for the first time for a 16-CD box set reissue in honor of the record’s 50th anniversary.
