CNBC has released its annual list of the best states for business in the USA. To determine the best states to live and work in, they factored in metrics like workforce, infrastructure, economy, “life, health, and inclusion,” the “cost of doing business,” and “tech and innovation.” With all those combined, these are the states they say are the best in the nation.

- Virginia
- Tennessee
- Georgia
- Minnesota
Then, there are the states that are on the bottom of the barrel. Alaska holds the bottom spot, with Louisiana, Mississippi, Hawaii, and West Virginia just above them.
