Coldplay brought its “Music of the Spheres” World tour to New Jersey’s MetLife Stadium this weekend, and during their Sunday night show they brought out a very special guest – New Jersey’s own Bruce Springsteen.

Frontman Chris Martin told the crowd that Bruce was his “hero” and that had the lyrics to The Boss’ “Working On a Dream” tattooed on his arm, so it was only natural that the pair played the song together.

“Hello, New Jersey!” Bruce told the crowd. “Well, like Chris said, he had this song tattooed on his arm for a while, so I guess I’ve got to sing it.”

After Bruce performed an acoustic version of the song, he and Chris came together for a version of Bruce’s “Dancing in the Dark,” with Chris on keyboards and Bruce on guitar. Check out footage of the Bruce performances to the right.

  • And Bruce wasn’t the band’s only guest. During Saturday’s show, they were joined by Kylie Minogue, who performed her hit an acoustic version of “Can’t Get You Out of My Head.”
