Crowded House will not be heading out on tour as planned. The group just announced that they have to postpone the tour because of their drummer Elroy Finn’s back issues.
“Crowded House are disappointed to announce that we must postpone our upcoming North American tour,” Neil Finn shares. “Our drummer Elroy is currently suffering a painful lower back injury and is receiving medical treatment for it,” noting, “We are advised that there may be some risk in the recovery process for him to play shows at this time."
They say Elroy will make a full recovery “in a matter of weeks given rest and rehabilitation.”
- The tour was supposed to kick off September 2nd in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. They are advising fans to hold on to their tickets, with new dates to be announced “shortly."
