David Bowie has been chosen as the most influential British artist of the past 50 years by Sky Arts, with the judges commending his influence in music, film, and television. A team of judges from across the performing arts was asked to create the list by the TV channel, and the list includes musicians, actors, producers, writers, and more.
Steve McQueen was in second place, followed by “Doctor Who” writer and producer Russell T. Davies in third.
