It looks like David Lee Roth is going out with a whimper. As we previously told you, Roth was forced to cancel his New Year’s Eve and Day shows in Las Vegas due to the recent COVID surge. Well, now he’s canceled his whole residency.
Roth just announced that his entire residency at the House of Blues at Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas, will no longer be happening. The reason given for the cancelation was “coronavirus concerns.”
On his social media page, he simply posted a drawing with the words “A funny thing happened on the way to Las Vegas…”
- As we told you, back in October, Roth announced that he decided he would be "throwing in the shoes” and “retiring” after the residency, which was supposed to run through January 22nd. He did not explain the reason or his decision to retire.
