Duran Duran Drops First Single From New Album

As we previously reported, Duran Duran is releasing their first new album in six years this fall, “Future Past.” Now they’re giving fans a preview.
When it comes to the new album, vocalist Simon Le Bon says the band had their new material in the works since late 2018, when they thought they’d be making just “two or three tracks for an EP.” “Four days later, with the nucleus of 25-plus strong songs in the can that all deserved development, I realized we’d be in it for the long haul, but that was before COVID,” he adds. “So here we are in 2021 with our 15th studio album, FUTURE PAST, straining at the leash.”
The band has dropped the first single, “Invisible.” It comes along with a music video that incorporates AI technology.
