As we told you, earlier this year Duran Duran performed on a rooftop in Beverly Hills and now fans are finally going to be able to see the performance.
The concert will be the subject of a 75-minute docu-concert, “A Hollywood High,” which will hit theaters November 3rd. The film not only features footage of the concert, but also includes interviews and archival footage focused on their relationship with the city.
“Duran Duran have had an enduring relationship with the city of Los Angeles since the first time we came to America,” John Taylor shares. “We were determined to do something unique to celebrate our four decades together,” noting, “A rooftop performance in LA with the Capitol Records building across the street and the Hollywood sign looming in the distance sounded perfect and turned out to be an extraordinary night for all of us.”
A special premiere for the film will take place October 27th at the Dolby Theater in Los Angeles, with the band in attendance. There will also be a London premiere November 1st at the Vue West End, in Leicester Square.
