Eddie Vedder is a well-known fan of The Who and this weekend he popped up for a surprise appearance with the rockers at a benefit show in Los Angeles.
The Who were playing a private benefit for Teen Cancer America and Ed came out to join them on their classic “The Seeker,” with Roger Daltrey warning the audience not to expect him to do the song’s “very loud scream” because he couldn’t “get my balls to drop any further at the moment.”
Teen Cancer America is the U.S. offshoot of Roger and Pete Townshend’s Teenage Cancer Trust charity in the UK.
