Elton John Tops “Billboard’s” 2020 Top Tour List

While artists haven’t been on tour since March, there were a few shows at the beginning of the year, which helped determine “Billboard’s” Top Tours of 2020 list.
Despite the abbreviated touring year, Elton John and his “Farewell Yellow Brick Road” tour was able to top the list, with 47 shows, nearly 800,000 tickets sold, and $114.1 million earned.
Coming in at two this year is Celine Dion’s “The Courage World Tour,” grossing $84.6 million, with 498,000 tickets sold, followed by U2’s “The Joshua Tree Tour,” which brought in $73.8 mil with 15 shows in Australia and Asia.
