Elton John/Britney Spears Collab Coming Friday

It looks like we don’t have much longer to wait to finally hear that Elton John/Britney Spears collaboration. Both artists announced on social media that the tune, “Hold Me Closer,” will drop Friday. 

The song is a remake of Elton’s classic track “Tiny Dancer,” and he even offered up a sneak peak of the new song on TikTok, which has them singing the classic chorus backed by a dance beat.

• As we previously told you, the pair reportedly recorded the song last month in Beverly Hills, along with producer Andrew Watt. The song will be the first new music Britney has released since the end of her conservatorship. Check out the preview to the right.
