Fans Want Styx In The Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame

Styx fans are determined to get them into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. There’s an online petition going around calling for their induction, and it’s close to its goal of 5,000 signatures.
The petition lists some of their career highlights, like their hit songs “Lady,” “Come Sail Away,” and “Mr. Roboto.” It also points out that they’re the first musical act to be certified by the RIAA after scoring four multi-platinum albums in a row. Despite these achievements, the band has never been nominated.
“For over 20 years, Styx has been eligible for induction into the Rock & Rock Hall of Fame,” the petition reads. “We as fans believe the recognition for their achievements and influences in rock music is long overdue.”
