The 50th anniversary reissue of George Harrison’s “All Things Must Pass” has debuted at number one on the “Billboard” Top Rock Albums chart this week.

Believe it or not, the album is now the late Beatles first-ever solo number one on the Rock Albums chart, which didn’t actually launch until 2006. He has had four though as a member of The Beatles. Previously the highest Harrison ever landed on the chart as a solo act was in 2012 when “Early Takes: Volume 1” peaked at seven.

Harrison follows his bandmate Paul McCartney as the second Beatle to have a solo number one on the Top Rock Albums chart this year. McCartney actually did it twice this year with “McCartney III” in January and “McCartney III Imagined” earlier this month.
