James Brown To Be Inducted Into The Radio Hall Of Fame

The late James Brown just got another honor. The Godfather of Soul has been chosen as a new member of the Radio Hall of Fame. Brown is now one of the 2022 “Legends of Radio” inductees and is being honored as a radio station owner. In the 60s he purchased Knoxville, Tennessee’s WJBE.
According to the Museum of Broadcast Communications, Brown’s honor recognizes “the talents and efforts of air personalities, programmers and operators who contributed with greatness to the radio industry and have since passed away.”
An official induction ceremony is set to take place November 1st at at Chicago’s Radisson Blu Acqua.
