Joe Walsh is bringing back his annual benefit VetsAid next month. The fifth annual festival, dubbed “VetsAid 2021: The Basement Show,” will be a ticketed, livestream set to take place December 18th.

Joe says that he’s still not comfortable bringing back the live concert due to COVID, but notes, “I was so pleased with last year’s streaming festival that I thought we could try something even cooler this time around.”

This year Joe and friends, including Heartbreaker Benmont Tench and more, will hold “an old-fashioned basement jam live from my house to yours.” He adds, “I will debut some brand new songs, play some favorites, share some never-before-seen footage and performances from past VetsAid shows,” noting, and who knows who will show up and what might happen?!” Tickets are on sale now here.

All proceeds will go to veterans’ charities. So far, VetsAid has disbursed nearly $1.8 million dollars to organizations that support veterans and their families.
