Lionel Richie Cancels Summer UK & European Tour

Lionel Richie has changed his summer plans. The singer just announced that due to COVID, he’s cancelling his UK and European tour, which included a headlining set at the Isle of Wight festival.
“As COVID and its variants continue to impact the world, I have decided to hold off on my European tour this summer,” he shares. “ “The most important thing to me is the health of my fans, band and crew. I hope you all understand and I hope to see you very soon when we can all gather safely.”
So far Isle of Wight has not announced a replacement for Richie.
