David Bowie’s lost 2001 album “Toy” is finally getting an official release. The record, which was shelved amid problems with his record label, is the latest project of the late music legend’s getting a reissue.
The album features a mix of new songs and re-recordings of lesser-known tracks from between 194 and 1971. “Toy” was recorded live in the studio after Bowie’s 2000 Glastonbury performance.
After being leaked in 2011, “Toy” will be officially released on November 26th. Pre-order the box set, featuring alternative versions, B-sides, and collabs with Philip Glass and Moby, HERE.
