Melissa Etheridge, Mavis Staples & More Set For Merlefest

Another edition of Merlefest will be happening this year, this time in September instead of the usual April. 

Set to take place September 16^th to 19^th at Wilkes Community College in Wilkesboro, North Carolina, 2021 MerleFest will feature performances by Melissa Etheridge, Mavis Saples, Tedeschi Trucks, LeAnn Rimes, Sam Bush, Donna The Buffalo, Scythian and The Waybacks with additional acts to be announced at a later date. 

The festival was founded by Doc Watson in 1988 and named the event after his son, Eddy Merle Watson, who died in a tractor accident in 1985. The event raises funds for Wilkesboro, North Carolina’s Wilkes Community College Foundation. 

Tickets for the festival go on sale June 10^th.
