Lionsgate closed out “CinemaCon” with a surprise first look at the Michael Jackson biopic, “Michael.” The footage was shown behind closed doors, but it was apparently very well received by everyone in attendance.
The movie is apparently pretty lengthy, with producer Graham King sharing they needed it to be long so they could do the music icon’s story justice. He also teased the movie will have more than 30 songs!
“Behind the unrelenting scrutiny and the accusations and the blinding media spotlight, he was simply a man. A man who lived a very complicated life. The movie will get into all of it,” King shared with the audience at “CinemaCon,” referencing the many scandals Jackson faced over his lifetime.
