Michael Jackson’s classic album “Thriller” continues to sell like hotcakes. The album was just certified 34-times Platinum by the RIAA, meaning the 1982 hit has now sold 34 million copies.
Believe it or not, the album isn’t the best-selling record in the U.S. though. That honor goes to the Eagles’ “Greatest Hits (1971-1975),” which has sold 38 million copies.
And “Thriller” isn’t the only Jackson album with a new certification. “Bad,” which came out in 1987, has now ben certified 11-times Platinum, and his “Number Ones” record is five-times Platinum.
