When Michael Nesmith passed away in December, Micky Dolenz became the last surviving member of The Monkees, and now he’s going to pay tribute to his bandmates on tour.

The singer just announced dates for the “Micky Dolenz Celebrates the Monkees” tour, a seven-date trek that kicks off April 6th at the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville, and wraps April 16th in Madison, Wisconsin.

“I felt it was important to gather the fans and properly celebrate the lives of Davy, Mike and Peter,” Mickey shares. “People have been contacting me, requesting that I honor them in a way where the extraordinary impact of the Monkees can be properly acknowledged,” adding, “We spent such a great deal of time together; they were like my brothers, and I want to share some of the great joy we had together.”
