Nancy Wilson Shares Cover Of The Boss’ “The Rising”

As we told you, Heart’s Nancy Wilson is set to release her first solo album early next year, and now she’s shared the first song from the record.  Nancy just dropped her take on Bruce Springsteen’s classic “The Rising,” which was written in the aftermath of the September 11^th attack.

As for why she decided to cover it, she notes, “I wanted to make something uplifting and aspirational for those of us who are suffering with all this sickness and loss,” adding, “I hope this song can help lift our spirits.”
