Neil Young and Crazy Horse released a new album "Barn" back in December. Just as the name sounds, the album was recorded in a restored 19th century farm. They're now releasing a documentary on how they made the album. It's available to stream for free on YouTube.
The doc was directed by Young's wife, Daryl Hannah. It has single shots that show the band, including his longtime bandmates Billy Talbot, Ralph Molina, and Nils Lofgren, recording the entire songs. The doc shows the chemistry the band has and also serves to prove how organic this album really is, with no studio tricks.
"Barn" is also the name of this documentary. It did have a limited run in theaters in December which coincided with the release of the album on December 10. YouTube has the rights to the doc, but there are also Blu-ray copies for sale.
