Pretenders’ Chrissie Hynde Debuts New Fender Guitar

Chrissie Hynde of The Pretenders has teamed up with Fender for a new signature electric guitar.
The signature guitar is modeled after Hynde’s own Telecaster, which she got almost 40 years ago in New York City. The guitar has a unique light blue tint, and boasts the “churning Tele rhythm” and 50s-style pickups heard on The Pretenders’ classic songs.
Chrissie’s new Telecaster is the latest in Fender’s Artist Signature Series. The guitar will run you about $1,400 – check it out HERE.
