Pop superstar Prince would have turned 65 on June 7th, and his friends have decided it was time to celebrate. Friends, family and former colleagues re-ignited music event “Celebrations,” formerly known as “Xenophobia” which Prince hosted from 2000-2003 in Minneapolis.

VIP attendees got access to ten unreleased tracks of the late artist, who passed away in 2016. Among these was a track Prince recorded with his dad, John L. Nelson, called “Don’t Play With Love” in 1985.

Former Prince collaborators Chuck D and Doug E. Fresh joined the celebration alongside Tony Mosley (aka Tony M). Chaka Khan even wowed the crowd with the story of meeting Prince because he tricked her into thinking he was Sly Stone. And in a touching moment, Prince’s sister Norrine Nelson assured fans "He's always here, because he's in you."
