As teased earlier this week, Queen has dropped a previously unheard song featuring their late frontman Freddie Mercury. The tune, “Face it Alone,” was recorded in 1988, during sessions for their 1989 album “The Miracle.”
"We did find a little gem from Freddie, that we'd kind of forgotten about," drummer Roger Taylor previously said about the song. "It's wonderful, a real discovery. It's a very passionate piece."
The band also announced a new box set reissue of “The Miracle,” which will include “Face it Alone.” It is due out November 18th, with a Super Deluxe Collector’s Edition made up of eight discs, including a “long lost original LP cut,” bonus tracks, B-sides, and extended and single versions. There’s also an instrumental disc of “The Miracle,” and a disc of radio interviews, as well as a Blu-ray and DVD of “The Miracle Videos,” which includes interviews, behind-the-scenes videos and more, as well as a 76-page photo book.
