R.E.M. Approves Of Eddie Vedder’s “Drive” Cover

As we previously told you, Pearl Jam’s Eddie Vedder covers R.E.M.’s “Drive” for the soundtrack of the new Sean Penn movie “Flag Day,” and now the track has been released.

And the song is already getting props from R.E.M, sharing on Instagram, “The band is psyched to have “Drive” in the film,” adding that they “really love Eddie’s take on it.”
